Programming the auxiliary heating

ImageFig. AIR CONDITIONING/Other functions/Auxiliary heater with the various functions for programming the auxiliary heater

A maximum of four entries are available in the display AIR CONDITIONING/Other functions/Auxiliary heater: three different settings for the timer as well as the setting Timer off. You always program the selected entry ("tick") in the display by specifying the day for activating the auxiliary heater and the start and the heating period of operation.

The auxiliary heater will start at the programmed time. The "tick" will indicate which program is active. In addition, the day of the week of the entry automatically advances to the next day. Thus you do not need to set the day of the week every day in order to use the timer daily.

If you prefer not to use auxiliary heater programming, select the entry Timer off.

-Select an entry from this list by turning the rotary/push knob.
-Confirm your selection by pressing the central rotary/push knob.
A "tick" appears before the selected entry. The auxiliary heater will switch on automatically at the selected time and will heat the vehicle interior to the last used temperature.

  Note
Instead of pressing the central rotary/push knob, you can also press the function key Select to confirm your choice.
