Setting the date manually

Image Fig. SETTINGS/Date with date display and function keys

In the display you see the date divided into three bars. From top to bottom, the bars indicate the day, the month and the year. The position of the bars corresponds to the positions of the associated function keys on the right side, where the changes can be made.

So that you can recognise immediately which settings you are are changing, the respective bar and its associated function key are marked with a colour.

-Press the appropriate function key, depending on whether you want to change the day,, the month or the year.
The coloured marking of the function key and the associated bar indicate the selection.
-Turn the central rotary/push knob to change the setting for the selected function.

Turn the knob anti-clockwise to lower the number and clockwise to raise it.
-Press the function key Confirm to save the changes which you have made to the date settings.
You access the screen SETTINGS/Other functions, where the changed date has been confirmed.

  Note
As an alternative to pressing a function key, you can jump from the current function to the next one in the menu by pressing the central rotary/push knob. The bar will move down one position every time the central rotary/push knob is pressed. The marking of the function key changes accordingly. If the bottom bar (year) is selected, pressing the central rotary/push knob returns to the top bar (day).
