Displaying specified pressures for warm tyres

The tyres will warm up as the vehicle is in motion, meaning that the tyre pressures will increase. In this function, the specified pressures are set in relation to the tyre temperature so that the tyres can be correctly filled even after a longer journey. Once the function has been activated you will see an illustration on your screen with the specified pressures for your warm tyres (in bar) and any irregularities found in the current tyre pressures.

 You will access the window Tyre pressure monitoring/Filling info..
ImageFig. Tyre pressure monitoring/Filling info. with specified pressures for warm tyres and status displays

The figures between the tyres indicate the specified pressures at the current tyre temperature for the front and rear tyres as measured in bar. Status displays of any deviations from the specified pressures can be seen to the left and right of the tyres on the screen. The status displays are as follows:

Image = Tyre pressures do not have to be corrected (pressure less than 0.2 bar less than specified pressure)
Image = Monitoring deactivated
Image = Warning, check the tyre pressure of the tyre(s) affected
Image = Warning, Flat tyre
Image = Display cannot be shown temporarily (Initialisation phase /Fault)

  Note

  Warning!
If this symbol Image for Flat tyre appears, stop immediately and check the tyres. If you do not need to change a tyre on the spot, drive slowly to the nearest filling station to check the tyre pressure and add air if necessary.

  Warning!
Your vehicle will not be able to achieve its full performance levels if the tyre pressure is too low. That is why you should have the tyre pressures checked as quickly as possible if an important deviation from the specified value is shown.

  Note
If the system states that a display is temporarily not possible (Image), please press the function key New specified pressures. If the pressure figures are then still not displayed, please contact your VW workshop. New specified pressures should also be confirmed after you have changed a tyre and the pressures have been checked and altered as necessary.

  Note
The symbol Image appears for all tyres when the vehicle is started after a flat tyre repair. In this case, press the function key New specified pressures.
New specified pressures should also be confirmed after you have changed a tyre and the pressures have been checked and altered as necessary.
