Regulating the maximum switch on volume of an audio source

Here you can specify the maximum volume at which the selected audio or video source (TV, CD or radio) plays when it is switched on. This function has an effect only if the volume of the respective audio or video source was higher when it was switched off than is specified here. If the volume was lower when the source was switched off than specified in this function, the lower volume will be used.

Function key Max. switch on volume:
-Press this function key to specify the maximum volume when an audio or video source is switched on.
The coloured marking of the function key Max switch on volume and the middle bar indicate the selection.
-Turn the central rotary/push knob to regulate the maximum volume when an audio or video source is switched on.

Turn the knob anti-clockwise to lower the volume and clockwise to increase it. The volume of the active audio source moves the value that has just been selected so that you can hear a confirmation of the setting made. When leaving the function Max switch on volume, the system will automatically switch back to the volume that was previously set for the active audio source.

  Note
As an alternative to pressing a function key, you can jump from the current function to the next one in the menu by pressing the central rotary/push knob. The bar will move down one position every time the central rotary/push knob is pressed. The marking of the function key changes accordingly. If the bottom bar (announcement volume) is selected, pressing the central rotary/push knob returns to the top bar (GALA).
