Entering the PIN
PIN stands for Personal Identification Number and is a number with between four and eight figures. You will be asked to enter the PIN code after pressing the Phone menu button.
Note
For your own security, the system will be blocked after the third incorrect entry. If this happens, you will asked to enter the PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) on the hand set in order to clear the system again.
Function key Enter PIN:
- | Press this function key to enter your PIN. |
| You will access the screen TELEPHONE where the number can be entered using the central rotary/push knob. |

- | Select the required figure by turning the central rotary/push knob. |
| The selection of a figure is indicated by the coloured bar. |
- | Confirm your selection by pressing the central rotary/push knob. |
After the entry has been confirmed, the coloured bar will move to the top of the list, the "tick".
Note
An asterisk will appear instead of the selected number to indicate a selection. If you prefer to see the numbers that you are entering then please activate the function Visible numbers.
- | Continue in this way until you have entered the PIN. |
- | Now select the "tick" at the beginning of the list by turning the central rotary/push knob. |
- | Turn the central rotary/push knob to confirm the PIN that you have entered. |
| You will return to the screen you were using previously. |
Note
Instead of pressing the central rotary/push knob, you can also press the function key Confirm to confirm the PIN that you have entered.
