TIM stands for Traffic Information Memory and denotes a system with a digital memory that can store any number of traffic reports and has a total memory length of 4 minutes.
Note
The traffic reports that have been stored will be played in chronological order, the latest report being played first.

Note
The latest traffic report will be played automatically when you press the TIM function key. The system will switch automatically back to the audio source you were listening to before listening to the report if you do not carry out any commands within a few seconds.
You can, of course, listen to another report or listen to a number of reports successively:
- | To do this, select an entry from the list by turning the central rotary/push knob. |
The selection of an entry is indicated by the coloured bar. |
- | Confirm your selection by pressing the central rotary/push knob. |
The selected traffic report is played and marked with a "tick". |
Note
Instead of pressing the central rotary/push knob, you can also press the function key Play to play the selected traffic report.
